很多人在路上
他不知道如果关闭学校,这些人应该待在哪里比较安全

中间隔了两个小时？？？真的话VT这回肯定臭名昭著了。
是, 大概听了一下,基本情况这样. 这哥们早上7点或者是9点去了dorm找朋友问他gf的
下落(受伤的人所述), 结果被告知没有见过,于是被射之... 然后这哥们就消失了,两
个小时(大概)出现在了校园另一头的lecture hall, 进了教室就开始开枪,连professor
一起射,目击者说很多人try to shut the door,但是都被射回去了.

(CNN) ―― A gunman shot and killed himself after opening fire in a dorm and classroom at Virginia Tech on Monday, killing at least 32 others in the deadliest campus shooting spree in U.S. history.
Students in Blacksburg, Virginia, described a chaotic scene as word of the shootings spread by e-mail, word-of-mouth and the schools emergency loudspeakers:
Tiffany Otey, Virginia Tech student: "At first we really werent sure what was going on. It sounded like construction. Theres a lot of construction going on always during our classes at that time. Then it was like a continuous gunfire going off like every second or so there would be another shot. There was approximately probably 50 shots total. ... At one point we did hear screaming because people were running out of the building and at this point, we were all kind of frightened as to wonder, what happens to us? Were like sitting there, too, like, who knows if the shooter was going to come up the next floor.
Maybe 10 minutes later we were in the room. The police came up. They all had bulletproof vests on, machine guns. They were telling us to put our hands above our head and if we didnt cooperate and put our hands above our heads they would shoot. I guess they were afraid, like us, like the shooter was going to be among one of us. So we were told to keep our hands above our head and run out of the building. At one point, somebody didnt have their hands above their head and one of the cops stated, you know, put your hands above your head, like were going to have to shoot."
Jamal Albarghouti, student: "The first thing I saw is when the policeman started taking their guns out. Then I knew this was serious. I didnt hear anything about the shooting that happened in A.J. but when I saw the guns, I thought there was just another bomb threat. Then I started hearing some gunshots far away. It seemed to me ―― where the cops are near right now. And then all the cops were trying to get into Norris Hall and they used like a bomb or something to open one of the doors. Probably they dropped a bomb in the building. There was a person on the second floor of Norris trying to tell the cops that hes in there. And probably trying to guide him in." Kristyn Heiser, student: "We were having class as usual and my teacher was lecturing and then there was a big window in our classroom and we saw all of a sudden about ―― this was probably around 9:30 ―― about six officers run by the building with their guns drawn. We were like, whats going on? Because this definitely is a quaint town where stuff doesnt really happen. Its pretty boring here. We were all alarmed, but someone got on their laptop and checked the Web site. All the Web site said was that there had been a shooting incident and that it had occurred at that dorm, which is across campus."
Matt Waldron, student: "I was on campus today, and I was walking toward class with my iPod on and these police cars started streaming down the sidewalk and kids were peeling off. I guess there were gunshots. It was right behind the building that I was in. And so they peeled us alongside the building. We had to stay inside there for like 15 minutes buildings. These two kids panicked and jumped out of the top story window. One kid broke his ankle and the other girl was not in good shape just lying on the ground. It was just mayhem. They told us to get out there. We ran across the drill field as quick as we could. There were cops yelling, and it was just a mess. It was kind of scary."

最早的说这个的消息来源是Chicago Sumtime，说的有鼻子有眼，把那个所谓的“凶手”（中国人）的BLOG，何时入美国国境等很多信息都暴了。其实官方一直没有证实是中国人，证人也只是说是二十来岁的六英尺左右的亚裔(asian)。

BLACKSBURG, Virginia (CNN) ―― The gunman who killed 30 people at Virginia Techs Norris Hall before turning the gun on himself was student Cho Seung-hui, university police Chief Wendell Flinchum said Tuesday.
Cho left a long and vitriolic note in his dorm room, law enforcement sources told ABC News. It contains an explanation of his actions and states, "You caused me to do this," ABC News reported.
It also railed against "rich kids," "debauchery" and "deceitful charlatans" on campus, according to the Chicago Tribune.
University officials said they were still trying to determine whether Cho was responsible for a shooting earlier Monday that left two dead at a dormitory.
However, Flinchum said ballistics tests show that one of the two guns recovered at Norris Hall was used at Norris and at the dorm, both located on the 26,000-student campus. (Watch police disclose new information about the shooter Video)
Authorities are still investigating whether Cho had any accomplices in planning or executing Mondays rampage, Col. Steven Flaherty of the Virginia State Police said.
"It certainly is reasonable for us to assume that Cho was the shooter in both places, but we dont have the evidence to take us there at this particular point in time," Flaherty said.
Cho, a 23-year-old South Korean and resident alien, was an English major who lived at the universitys Harper Hall, Flinchum said. (Shooters profile)
"He was a loner, and were having difficulty finding information about him," said Larry Hincker, associate vice president for university relations.
Cho came to the United States in 1992, through Detroit, Michigan, a department of Homeland Security official said. He had lawful permanent residence, via his parents, and renewed his green card in October 2003, the official said.
His residence was listed as Centreville, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C.

"What went on during that incident certainly caused tremendous chaos and panic in Norris Hall," Flaherty said, describing how victims were found in four classrooms and in the stairwell of the schools engineering science and mechanics building.
